Before Your Eyes is a first-person narrative adventure that explores a soul’s journey into the afterlife through a groundbreaking interaction mechanic—your real-life blinks. The story unfolds after your death, aboard a mythical Ferryman’s ship, where he guides souls to the afterlife. To help you move on, he needs to learn your life story, sending you back to relive your most significant moments.
Using your webcam, the game immerses you in this experience like never before. You control the narrative flow with your blinks, revisiting cherished memories of family, first love, and your artistic journey. However, the Ferryman begins to suspect you’re withholding vital experiences, pushing you into the depths of your most repressed memories and ultimately uncovering a poignant truth.

Originally titled Close Your, the game won the Game Developers Choice Award at Indiecade and the Student Award at the Independent Game Awards (IGF) before securing funding through a successful Kickstarter campaign.
