Create a new “Infection-Free Zone” wherever you wish. Construct shelters and production facilities, repurpose existing buildings to meet new needs, and establish farms and power sources. Fortify your base with walls, gates, and towers.
Leverage your knowledge of the city to strategize: Where are the best defensive positions? Recall where the grocery stores and pharmacies were located. Where might weapons be found? Keep in mind that exploring old buildings is risky; infected could be lurking in the shadows.
